Silver Lake Ballet is excited to offer a Modern/Contemporary dance class perfect for students ages 8-12! Students will learn movement isolation, spine articulation, floor work, and musicality in this beginner class. Simple exercises in the center and across the floor will introduce students to modern dance vocabulary, while longer combinations in the center will help them learn to memorize choreography. This class is ideal for those who want to expand their movement range beyond ballet technique while building balance, strength, and flexibility in proper alignment.

Ms. Renée is a working Los Angeles dancer who studied ballet and modern dance at NYU Tisch School of the Arts and Stanford University.
